The Kittens of Kinder Haus

The kittens of Kinder Haus live on campus until they find their forever homes. They function as our outdoor teachers. They educate the children about the joys of outdoor living: soaking up the sun, smelling all the smells, and rolling on the ground. They also give the children the opportunity to practice their gentle hands and further their understanding of human/ animal relationships. They take monitoring the property very seriously. You can find them chasing away intruding grasshoppers and patrolling the parking lot. They also enjoy welcoming families to the school during morning arrival and also at dismissal. Please be sure to introduce yourself to the kittens when you have the chance. They can often be found napping in the courtyard.
