Mrs. Taylor began her career in early childhood education working in a multiage childcare facility with with babies as young as six weeks old and children as old as 13. It was during her 3 years there that she realized the power and benefit of the older children helping to model for the younger ones. Her path to immersing herself in the Montessori Method began when she joined us here at Kinder Haus Montessori in 2016. Her first position in the school was in the Preschool room where she was eventually promoted to be the Preschool team Lead teacher. She worked in that classroom for four years refining her knowledge by completing her Birth to Three year old Montessori Certification (August of 2017) from North American Montessori Center. In 2020 she took over as the Primary Team Lead Teacher with a focus on Math, Sensorial, Cultural Arts and Science. She is extremely creative, friendly, and her positive energy contagiously spreads throughout the entire classroom. Currently she is in the process of completing her three to six year old Montessori Certification through North American Montessori Center. When not at Kinder Haus and not studying for her certification, Taylor spends time with her husband Zach and her 2 year old son Zachary. They are also expecting their second child at the end of summer 2021.

“Tiffy” began her journey with Kinder Haus in February 2015. She started as an assistant teacher in the toddler classroom and soon after was offered the lead position where she remained until July of 2022 when our toddler room transferred over to the NIDO school. Tiffany is now the lead of our Bridge classroom for 2-3 year children. When asked what she loves most about her job she said, “Children are amazing human beings who are not given the credit or respect that they deserve. 80% of what we will learn in life is learned in the first 3 years and that’s where education for life should begin. What I love is having the privilege to be a part of those first years.”
She says that she knew as a young child that she wanted to be a teacher and would often play “school” with her stuffed animals and dolls. In 1998, as a senior in high school, she enrolled in a class that allowed her to be an assistant to a 1st-grade teacher at a local elementary, and that is where her teaching career began. In the years since she has studied education at SELU and had the opportunity to teach various grades before finding her niche here at KHM. She is certified in birth - 3 years through NAMC and is currently enrolled in master’s classes at CGMS for her MACTE degree in birth - 3 years.
When not at work she can usually be found at home working in the yard, practicing her crocheting skills, or taking care of her plants. She enjoys spending her downtime with her husband, their blended bunch of 6, and family.

Tammie Baughman has years of experience being around babies. She was a nanny for three families before working with the babies at Nido. Mrs Tammie worked at Kinder Haus for three years as a chef and enjoyed the family and home like environment very much, when she heard of the infant center opening she couldn't stay away! "I love seeing the babies reach new milestones!"

"When I saw a job opening at Kinder Haus Montessori, I knew I had to try and take the opportunity. I have loved watching my baby grow in her first year of life, and I love watching her discover new things everyday. I knew I would love working with other children. I did not know much about Montessori prior to working here, but I can say that I appreciate and love the way it teaches children to become individuals. My daughter comes to work with me, and she loves being here. I am so glad that we both get to experience the Montessori method. I have started to use it at home! I was not sure what I wanted to do since graduating college, but I do know that I want to work with children. I am currently thinking about becoming a licensed teacher!"
In Jackie's free time she loves playing with her daughter and taking her on walks and also enjoys embroidery.
"The Kinder Haus family is like no other. Everyone here is kind, caring and compassionate. You can really tell the staff loves what they are doing. The staff really cares about every single person here. The minute you walk in the doors you are a part of the family."
